If you're pregnant you can't stop the cramping...that is your body stretching to accomedate.
Try talking to your doctor as you may be able to take Tylenol to reduce the pain.
-----------
AACCCKK! People below suggest Advil or Midol or Ibuprofin! You are NOT supposed to take Ibuprofin when you're pregnant (also in Advil and some Midol formulas) and you're supposed to avoid caffiene (Also in Midol!).
-----------
I assume that you're pregnant b/c this is in the pregnancy spot. You're not supposed to use heating pads, or even bathe in water that is too hot when you're pregnant b/c you risk the child... even at tempretures over 102*.

Ibuprofin, hot water bottles, exercise helps some. If they are that bad and nothing takes the cramps away see your MD. Get on the pill. It is amazing and helps not only the cramps but it will shorten your periods for you. I used to have cramps from hell back in my high school days. I almost fell out of my chair once! Once I got on the pill at 16 I never looked back and my periods for years were wonderful! Check it out! It may be a good solution for you.

if your pregnant and having bad menstrual cramps than you need to go to the ER right away, but if you are just having menstrual cramps then try midol or even aleve, i used that for cramps before i got pregnant and believe it or not it actually helps.

See, these cramps and pain mean that your menstruation cycle is not very smooth and its not clear to the extent it should be. So its better to consult a gyn and have a check up as well as clean up (with medicines only)
