Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.
The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.

Both major parties have shifted so far to the right in the last 15 years that Gillard is further to the right than Howards first government. People in the LNP whose views have remained constant, like Malcolm Turnbull now look more left wing than the Gillard government. Back in the day, journalists and pundits used to report on political debate. Now they appear to be shaping it. I expect the LNP will do whatever the likes of Bolt and Murdoch tell it to do.

there's soo many.on different subjects as well. "we could all learn a lesson from crayons: some are bright, some are beautiful, some are dull, some are short, some are tall, and some have weird names. but they all have to learn to live in the same box."
but for life. there's two "a perfect life can only be lived after you make imperfect decisions." and the old irish saying "dance as if no one were watching, sing as if no one were listening, love as if you were never hurt, and live each day as if it were your last" the irish saying if you think about it is one the hardest thing for a person to do. all four of them at least. one may accomplish 'dance' and 'sing' but once hurt from love she will never learn to live. and so on. if we can do what this saying is will happiness be in your life forever?? maybe

(Ever since I got that fortune, I try to make the best of every situation and be positive as often as I can...although sometimes it's terribly hard.)

And to Lilac's I say "write like no one knows you are a complete idiot." That dancing quote will come in handy during times of adversity.
