I'm not quite so sure personally.

Anyway, I've really noticed that 70s colour TV seems a lot paler than modern colour TV and she (And myself to be fair) was wondering whether the colour for the TV in the 70s was the same as the real world colour for those who were alive then?

Sorry if it's badly worded, but I'm not exactly sure how to put this..

Well in the 1970s, they actually VIDEOTAPED shows- TERRIBLE quality, the picture bleeds all over the place. Today's cameras are much more sophisticated. Also, screens today have higher resolutions especially the HDTV Plasmas.

Color might be the same, but lighting sure as hell isnt. You don't have lighting specialists following you around ensuring the light is the same depending on mood, scene, and characters in play.
