I got a new PC for Christmas. It's a Dell Dimension E520 and it has Windows XP Media Centre Edition. I have a program called Dell Network Assistant which came preloaded on the PC. I have a Wireless Network running through my house and it worked fine on my old PC. But ever since I got my new one, it's been going on and off and my Dell Network Assistant constantly says its disconnected when it's not. Anybody have any solution?

Can the back laptop ping the other computers or visa versa. Is the IP address typed in correctly( I know you say it is, but double check.) Check the Subnet and Default gateway(should be the desktops ip address) Look at the Device Manager and make sure the Wireless Network Device is good.(If you see a yellow question mark then install the driver, if its red its been disables and needs to be enabled.) Run set wizard again and make sure you turn on file and print sharing. Good Luck
