I own a x reg PEUGEOT 406 2L HDI that keeps cutting out on me have replaced both fuel pumps any ideas ?

Transponder immobiliser is a possibility. Could also be a battery/earth fault. this is not a well known problem, and the Pug is usually very reliable. Call peugeot technical advice line ( found on www.peugeot.co.uk in contact us area ) they may be able to resolve.
