Only if you use inverted commas around the 'I' .

eg 'I' is always written as a capital letter if you are referring to yourself.

Ofcourse u cant.... By the rules of English grammar an 'I' should always be followed by 'am'. This is because 'I' is a first person pronoun. Only third person pronouns like 'he', 'she', 'it' can be followed by 'is'. Third person plural pronouns like 'they' can be followed be 'are' And fr ur info second person pronoun is 'we'.
