Personally I would say yes. However we both know that the BCS, in their unquestionable infinite wisdom have already made up our minds for us. The winner of the Florida - Ohio State game will be crowned National Champions, end of story!
What this does is continue to prove that a viable playoff system must be implemented. There is no question about it. Frankly I was hoping that this scenario would play itself out for that very reason.
I'm pretty sure that the Buckeyes will beat the Gators but if your question comes to pass there will be a lot of football egg heads wearing egg of their faces. WE NEED A DIVISION 1A PLAYOFF SYSTEM PUT INTO EFFECT!!

No, first off Ohio State is too strong and Florida can't beat them this year. The big ten is a strong conference and it showed yesterday by them going 2-0 against the SEC. But, on the other hand any team can win, so if Florida were to win I don't think so. Boise State had a great season, but who besides Oklahoma were quality wins for the season?

That's why the NCAA football, and even basketball post season, is all messed up. While you may say, "BSU played a weak schedule," was it or was it not an official schedule, meaning did they play teams sanctioned by the NCAA? Yes they did. They had a conference schedule, a conference sanctioned by the NCAA. And they ran the table.
But, we all know that smaller conferences will never get any equal treatment in post season, either in basketball or football.
What am I talking about in basketball? The play-in game. 2 schools who are the sole representatives in their small D1 conference have to play for the honor of getting drug up and down the court by the #1 seed while another school, who may be the 4th or 5th school in their conference, don't have to play to get in. That's crap.
To the guy down below me.
Oh, you mean like the Big 12 champion?

I was wondering when that question would come up. I was actually pulling for Oklahoma because I knew there would be a controversy if Boise State won and there would not be if Oklahoma won. I suppose they could do like they did a few years ago with LSU and USC and have two national champions. I guess this will make the rule makers more aware that the NCAA needs a playoff system.

No way... just take a look at BSU's opponents this year... Ohio State's were far more impressive than BSU's. I would rather see USC leapfrog Florida to become the National Champion (if, and that's a BIG IF, Florida beats Ohio State).

yes it should but since they r not playing in the championship game sadly it will not happen. Boise St should be considered 4 the championship and yesterday's win proves that the smaller schools r as good as the big schools so yes they should get consideration no they won't get it

No! i grew to become into inspired with Boise State lastnight. Oklahoma truly did beat Oregon previously interior the 12 months. Oregon grew to become into interior the %10, and the final out of the %10 is on any given week up for debate. One week, Oregon, one week, Cal, one week USC, yet another UCLA. So shall we rule out any %10 team. even however USC gained against the choke experts Michigan the former day. They lost two times throughout the time of the 12 months. So back to Oklahoma. How good are they, considering the fact that Boise "fairly" beat them? Their important loss (in case you do no longer count variety the Oregon rob through officers) grew to become into to a distinctly crappy Texas team. Texas fairly beat a backside living huge Ten Iowa team of their bowl game. Oklahoma grew to become into ranked seventh, which regardless of each and everything the bowl video games looks thank you to extreme. huge 12 grew to become into no longer staggering this 12 months or any bowl game. So, Boise fairly squeaks previous them, i do no longer think of they are #a million with the aid of fact of a squeak game against a distinctly vulnerable team while each and everything washes out. Boise gained strictly on turnovers and trick performs. ok, possibly some great practise besides. yet now that communities have considered it, do you think of they could pull it off against multple high quality communities in a 12 months? once you play a cupcake schedule and win throughout the time of the 12 months, you should teach greater to thoroughly hop over different communities that performed multiple no longer common communities (with out gadget performs).

That is such STUPID thinking, DEKE.
Florida plays in the SEC, which is about 100 times as good a conference as the wussy WAC, and Ohio St plays in the Big 10, which is about 95 times as good as the WAC.
You're using primitive, black and white thinking, like you are a 5 yr old or an imbecilic adult.

No way, yes they beat who was on their schedule, but put them in a Major conference and then see how they do, no way they go undefeated.
