Yes, it does produce flowers but they're insignificant. All plants have a reproductive system so they need flowers. But, as you probably know, copper leaf is grown for it's foliage.
The flowers are green, sometimes with a touch of pink, growing in thin spikes up to eight inches long.

All plants have reproductive structures, usually called flowers. Some, however, are not showy or hidden from sight by the leaves. But they still bloom at some point in their life cycle.
Acalypha wilkesiana macafeana has slender red flower spikes.

no . it is related closely to the poinsettia with variegated red and pink leaves . it's 'cousin' Acalypha hispida ( red hot cats tails ) has woolly red flower spikes . good l;uck
