I just like the tactics they employ behind each fight and its not purely just a hack and slash anime and the anticipation and story behind is fight is deep... Kenshin and Sanosuke are so cool... And i just love the dual personality of kenshin and how he tries to win the fight through persuasion rather through brute strength( He vow not to kill a person anymore )... Who agrees with me?

I will TOTALLY agree with you!!! Samurai X is one of the best animes that I watched!! Haha. All the characters are well drawn and has a major role to play in any episode. I like Yahikos's fighting spirit. Misao is so energetic in any way, especially when she is with Aoshi. My favourite character is Aoshi. I find him rather handsome. He looks 20 years old to me. Hah.. Well, overall, Samurai X is awesome and has lots of actions!! I have the whole collection of the anime and manga. I even have Aoshi's ninja uniform. Hah *I am so CRAZY*

You need to read the manga too. Sure Kenshin beat Shishio and all that, but there is a whole other story arc where you find out Kenshin's past and where he has to duel his insane brother-in-law Enishi. I liked it the best. The anime is good though. Manga is actually called Rurouni Kenshin. Samurai X is another name.

you couldn't be more right!! kenshin rawks!! the manga rawks even harder!! i just love the plot (and the execution, of course) of it! and all those historical references! this is the best portrayal of saito i've ever seen in anime.
if you think the anime is great, go watch the ova, you'll come out shivering because of the sheer greatness. (the only thing that i regretted about the anime is that they didn't elongate the duel between yahiko and kenji. that was awesome)

Agreed. Kenshin was one of the best animes that my eyes rode on every week that it was on. If it came back on. I watch it in a heartbeat

Samurai X is the first anme that I've watched. It's what started me into the anime fandom. ^__^ It's a really cool anime. I like all the sword fights. ^_^;
