Step 1 - Remember you are the parent and therefore in charge.
Step 2 - Delete your daughter's user account
Step 3 - Set a new Admin password and don't tell your daughter what it is.
Step 4 - Log on for her when she wants to use the computer and limit here time. If she attempts to go to Myspace she gets punished.

Be a parent - not a coward.

The operating system that you use depends on the amount of security that you will be able to give to your daughter.

If using Windows XP and Internet Explorer
I would:
1) make an account in windows for your daughter with limited user rights
2) limit access via internet options to disallow access to http://*.myspace.com and
https://*.myspace.com
This will block most access, but not all, you would have to block other things as well

For more information on how to do this, please email me

You could add *.myspace.com/* to your network or computer firewall's blocked sites list thus preventing network traffic to the site but these actions could make you unpopular with your daughter.

you've got to be smarter than your daughter (means, she can install other browser to avoid this)
try following:
(assuming you are using IE):

- goto tools
- goto tab "content"
- on "content advisor" click on "enable"
- on tab "approved sites" put the myspace's URL (http://www.myspace.com)
- click on "never"
- you'll see the URL on the list
- fill the password (don't forget it or you'll be sorry later)
- don't forget to check the box "users can see the sites that have no ratings", otherwise, the pop up windows will bugging you many times while you browsing!!

this procedures means that you put the password in able to access to the website (in this case, myspace website)

Add it to the "blocked" settings on your browser and install a net-nanny/parental controls.

MySpace is rubbish anyhow, you'd be doing her a favour, and help her to develop real social skills, rather than virtual anti-social skills.
