I used to hold it in, and let it mount, but now I speak my mind and let it pass.

It depends who the person is. If it's your BOSS, for example, it might not be in your best interest to reveal your emotions. Sometimes it is impossible to hide - and that's okay, you are a human being after all. The good thing is that you are aware of your feelings and you KNOW when you are annoyed. That is good. Deciding what to do with your feelings is the next step. You may be able to say something about what is bothering you or you may have to figure out another way to deal with your emotions. If you aren't sure, talk to a friend about what is bothering you and bounce around a few ideas about what to do or say about the situation.

Good luck to you! I know that I have been in this situation MANY times and I have not always known what to do. It's tough!

Well normally I don't care if the person can tell that I'm annoyed with them. However I worked at a store for more than two years, so I got really good at hiding my annoyance. It makes customers mad when you seem annoyed with them.

Depends on the situation and where you are. It may be more rude to just bluntly tell the person you are annoyed by him/her, so timing is very important. If you are able to say it at the very moment of occurrence, say it politely. Maybe the person is unaware that he/she has been rude or said something to annoy you. Therefore, control your urge to blurt something back out to that person. It is not normal for a person to be rude; something wrong may be going on in their life and sometimes if you have a bit of patience you can avoid returning rudeness with rudeness... In the long run, being nice with people gives back positive returns, specially good chemical reactions in your own body that make you feel all warm inside and are good to your own health...

If I'm a little annoyed I can easily hide it, if I'm very annoyed they will know it and move on to annoy someone else after I rip them apart.

Of course it depends on just who it is that I am annoyed with, if it is my boss I hide it but if it is a friend or family member I pretty much say my piece, they don't pay me so I feel free to spit it out.
