My favorite songs in 2006 weren't dancing songs, they were the sappy, mushy kind ... Nickelback's Far Away, Stone Sour's Thru The Glass, The Fray's How To Save a Life, pathetic stuff like that.
However, Maneater (Nelly Furtado) was a pretty good dancing song. My all time favorite dancing song isn't from 2006 ... it's Shy Guy by Diana King. Something about that reggae typed beat I suppose, but damn good for dancing.

My all time favorite song to dance is Larger Than Life by Backstreet Boys. I almost grew up with it.
But from 2006 I loved Let Me Talk To You/My Love for dancing.

I like to jump around to Beastie Boys "you gotta fight for your right to party". When I was in high school they played that song every friday at five. I would turn it up as loud as my little stero would blast and jump on my bed singing along. So, I still love to do that.
lately I've been shaking my @$$ to "smack that". A song I can't help but dance to.
