I am hoping you are saying sign, it can take years to see the truth from God. Moments of complete and utter amazement have filled my mind over the years.
God gives us wisdom and patience but it comes at a price. God will give us something to become wise about and patience comes at a bigger price as he give us something to be patient about.

I have had signs from God. Simple ones, but there are many times that I doubt that it was simply from him.
