ha ha..nice joke
this is like a plane crash and bury the survivors..
ha ha...........made my day.
glad you added more information
some people have successfully taken (via sale or trade) a house and had it removed and put elsewhere (eg house in commercial are moved by trailer back to residental area so the land could be developed where it was)
the people that move "mobile homes" or trailers can do this and have the equipment..
sometimes a large home is cut in half and then put back together on the site..
I've heard an approximate cost of $20k
my husband did a remodel on a house to bring it to commerical standing for a doctor..and..it is still being used 20 years later..for a professional doctor's office in a commerical zone (previous rancher use).(not moved just renovated)
Up to you if you want more information.......
go to your local zoning office..
they may be able to give numbers but sometimes from ethics can not..

Why would you possibly want to sell the house separately from the land? Although that can be done it may take years to get a sale. Houses can be moved but unless it's architecturally or historically significant you'll most likely have to give it away to make moving it worth while for the buyer. Then you'll be stuck selling bare land which will attract a higher commission (typically 10%) and take much longer to sell.
Just sell your property in the normal way to get the best price and the quickest sale.

AN Attorney: Your question is too vague .... Personal property in a real esteate contract can be sold and should have a bill of sale.
However I think you want to sell a portion of your land and live in the house or sell it seprately. Your remedy for this is perhaps a sale and lease back ,usually done with commercial property.
Also if this land is a large parcel you would need to subdivide it.
Never the less the person you need to get in touch with would be an attorney.

Unless you have a large property that includes multiple parcels that can be sold separately. It is not financially prudent to do so.
If you have just one parcel of land with a home on it, to get best price you need to sell both together.
Why would someone just buy the house and not the land? It would cost thousands of dollars to move the house to the buyer property.

Hi, best thing to do is go to an estate agents that do both! You should be able to get a discount this way as well. Here we sell land and houses which makes it easier to keep it all in one place.
Good Luck.

You can't. Possibly you could do something else and accomplish the same goal, like a land contract or a lease.
