It is certainly possible. In boxing when a heavy-hitting underdog faces a great champion or opponent it is said that he has a "puncher's chance". Meaning if he gets a chance to connect with a solid punch then he could win the fight against the more superior fighter.
So Kobe, being the scorer he is, definitely has a chance to score 80 points again. If he happens to find the right defense on a given night he could do it again.

Its possible I suppose...he has the scoring talent, but I think he was just really really hot that night, and its possible but unlikely he will be that hot again. He's one of the top 4 scorers in the league, and I expect to frequently see 40's some 50's and maybe even a couple of 60's at some point before he retires but I dont think he'll ever hit 80 again

The only way he can score that much is if he plays a team that really lacks the talent in defense and last year's raptor's team was one of the worst if not the worst defensive team in the league. This year the D is better but still is lacking.

If his team is down by like 40 in the 1st quarter he will probably get in one of those zones that he makes everything he shoots. thats the only way he will score more than 80. and also if his team isnt shooting the ball well

Nahh, he doesn't have the same steam as before. The only way he could score 100+ is if he were more of a ball hog than usual
