I've never understood why people use this account when the banks offer such a better alternative. All the high street banks will offer you a Basic Bank Account. You can pay direct debits and standing orders through them and even use them in the Post Office. My benefits are supposed to go in on a Monday But are always in on the preceding Friday.RBS bank. The staff are better, less queueing than PO. Ring benefits office to make sure money has been paid. It normally takes 5 days to appear in your account. As you are on line, get an account that you can check from home. RBS key account is fine.

Or you could try the more traditional and somewhat frustrating alternative of goinf to your 'nearest' Post Office, queuing for ages with people that smell like they havent washed in months, get served by some sow faced biffer and find out you havent been paid.
Then off to see those lovely people at the DWP get jerked around by there phone monkeys, wait in offices with again people that smell of dried fecal matter then get given the same standard, sub-standard reasons for not being paid.
.....and people think its fun being on the dole ?!?
Jeremy Kyle should give it whirl, shouty little whinger.
