I get this error message during start up each time:

SmartBridge Alerts: MotiveSBexe - Entry Point Not Found.
The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.

I just click on "ok" and it goes away, no more problems. None of it sounds familiar to me as something I have tried to open or download. Please tell me how to get it to stop coming up.
Thanks!

1. Motive SmartBridge© is distributing an old version of PSAPI.DLL. As a
result, users might receive the following error message after installation
of Internet Explorer 7:

"SmartBridge Alerts:MotiveSB.exe Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry
point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link
library PSAPI.DLL"

2. Hal Screen Reader and Supernova Reader Magnifier by Dolphin both may stop
responding when users click commands from Internet Explorer’s file menu.
These two programs are shipped with an older version of psapi.dll that
causes the program to stop responding in Internet Explorer 7.

To resolve this error:

* Go to the installation location for SmartBridge (\Program
Files\Verizon...\Smart...) or Dolphin Hal Screen Reader or Supernova Reader
Magnifier.

[Alternately, search in Windows Explorer (WinKey+E) for "PSAPI.DLL" (without
the quotes); you may need to enable Advanced option and the 3 options
underneath it.]

* Find PSAPI.DLL and rename it to something like PSAPIOLD.DLL

* NB: Do NOT rename the PSAPI.DLL file in C:\Windows\System32 directory!

* Restart the computer.

Contact your ISP for removal instructions. Motive Smart Bridge is a garbage, useless program that is installed when using your service providers CD install disc. All it does is annoy and use up your computer's resources! It is NOT any kind of a virus or malware, however.

I have un-installed Motive Smart Bridge from every computer I have ever owned, when an ISP has tried to sneak it onto my computer

I love you. You actually posted the error message rather than saying "It work not cause help!". The problem is, your program is calling to a function in a DLL. The problem is, there is no such function in the DLL that you have. Try obtaining a newer copy of the DLL from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?psapi. Put the dll in the "C:\WINDOWS\system32\" folder. Then try running your program =)

you're utilising a information superhighway browser to deliver digital mail. there is an errors interior the server code. not something you're able to do yet touch whoever keeps the positioning and tell them. (and in line with risk replace your digital mail provider.)

It must be that there is a file missing or PSAPI.DLL is a damaged file.
