I'm a bit hurt to think someone would just go to my bag and take it,
I have been told I'm too trusting.

Is is wrong to be trusting? Should I change my ways?

Maybe that wasn't your friend that stole you wallet and if there wasn't nothing special or much money in it, then you shouldn't worry
about it, it happens-life go further.
P.S. If that was one of your friends then i think you should change them...

You should take the steps necessary to protect yourself from identity theft. Go to http://www.ftc.gov for information.

No, it's not wrong to be trusting. But it can be expensive.
