Think yourself lucky you GET a milk delivery at all - most of London lost ours years ago!

It's up to the milkman/ woman, if they want to deliver early then there is nothing to stop them doing so because the earlier they start, the earlier they get finished. I know, I used to deliver milk myself, many years ago !

Milk gets delivered at 2am in my home town.

I dont think there can be any "rules".
