since adopting the new yahoo home page?

I cannot directly access the internet.To do so I have to connect,get refused,then click home.Only then do I get internet.Ive also lost lotsa symbols.Im no clever clogs but am not completely daft and dont understand it.

I fail to see how this would happen, have you tried changing your homepage? What symbols have you lost? right click on your toolbar and see if anything has un-checked itself. Puzzling........
