Bidets aren't used at all here, as far as I know. (I'm from the US.)

NO I don't and I have never even seen anyone that has one in there home. I've been to Hotel's that had them though. Too scared to use it.
The whole thing seems pretty odd to me....Are you supposed to use Toilet Paper also??? And does the water come from a different source? I mean it's not the water you just pee'd in spraying up your butt is it???? Do you really not bathe everyday like that other girl said? Wow I sure am full of questions instead of answers, huh? Sorry about that. It would be cool if you could answer some of mine though....Thanks.

it truly is not accepted in France till you grew up contained in the country and had a septic device which couldn't cope with bathroom paper. I did spend a summer on a farm in France and shall we not flush paper, we placed it in a bin with a lid on it that change into emptied daily. yet after I lived in Paris, we flushed each little thing down the bathroom you do not use bathroom paper with a bidet - you wash your self with water and dry with a towel perhaps merely tell them that this is okay to flush bathroom paper on your position

Bidets are not commonly a fixture of American bathrooms. Americans generally shower daily, so a bidet is not generally necessary to personal hygiene as it might be in a country where daily bathing is not as common.
