History says yes. Carrying close to 400 times in a season has ruined the careers of many great backs (Terrell Davis, Eddie George, Jamal Anderson to name a few). What worries me about Johnson is his running style. He's a downhill runner, that's all. He doesn't have great moves, he just breaks tackles well. That kind of running puts alot of hurt on a person, especially since he's not very big (for a power runner). I think the Chiefs were stupid to make him carry the ball that many times this year.
The football fan in me wants to say that he'll be fine and have a long career, but the realist in me says he probably won't have any more great seasons.

After sitting behind Holmes for those years and this year not really taking hard shots (see Trent Green) or being injured he should be as good if not better next year when the team finds some more linemen and opens the playbook up you've got figure they're going to draft some WRs and when they do they have the potential to be an offensive force like San Diego.

No. He's still young and has not sustained any career-altering injuries (foot, knee, ankle). The off-season should be ample time for him to get back to 99%. (A pro running back once said that there isn't a single running back in the league that is ever at 100%.)

I'd say no since he didnt have any serious injuries - plus he sat the bench for his first couple of years so its really not that much wear

He is a workhorse but all that running will make him tired earlier in his career.

Not if his body recovers during the off-season.
