yes and its about high time we began to focus on us rahter than the rest of the world, for if we set an example of how well a demoracy works and did not interfear with others, we might just set an example that the rest of the world would want to follow.

No, I don't think so.
First of all, unless you mean domestic issues only, it already is its only agenda. And the world is too interdependent too limit a national agenda to domestic issues.
I suppose in some sense America could solve all its problems, even if it were not its only agenda. Clearly, this has not happened. But I don't think being the only agenda is enough of a factor to make that likely.
How could America possibly reach a consensus on what the problems are, much less on how to solve them. Education? Imnmigration? Capital punishment? Poverty? National health insurance? The greater good for society, or for the individual?
And even then, most solutions lead to their own set of problems or inequalities.

Interesting thought, but then there would always be those that did not like the solutions. So that would create another problem in itself. Kind of like the person that asks a question, then gives a thumbs down to every person that answers

Yes, I have seen what Yankee ingenuity has done in my life time. John F. Kennedy said we would put a man on the moon in a decade, we did it in 8 years. A concentrated effort and a dedication to it could solve all of the problems this country faces and any problem that would come up in the future.

No. What you are describing is exclusively reactionary policy. It wouldn't work for two reasons:
1. If one is engaged in constantly (and in your scenario, only) putting out fires, there would be no way to anticipate future problems, thus the US would always be responding to problems as they occur.
2. The idea of a political "end game" or "silver bullet" is a fallacy. All solutions beget their own problems. There is no way silver bullet or magic formula to eliminate all problems.

Honestly, I don't think any person or entity could solve all of their problems.
