Bragging rights - just bragging rights. Helps massage one's ego. But recently Yahoo awarded prizes to the various point levels. Things like key chains, caps. coffee mugs. Stuff that might sell on eBay for about 5¢ up to maybe 99¢. This link might give you more info than you really wanted.
