LAHORE, MARCH 24. India recorded its first one-day series triumph in Pakistan on Wednesday with a 40-run win in the fifth and deciding one-day international to clinch the series 3-2.

India played first one day international match against Pakistan on 1st October, 1978 at National Stadium Quetta under the captaincy of Bishen Singh Bedi. India won that match by 4 runs.
