First off, without details on whether your systems are networked or you are tryin to use your dialup connections on 2 PCs at once, I can only guess! If your PCs are on a network, the pc that has the dialup connection is the only one that will connect directly thru dialup! The other PCs must be set up to connect thru your lan. If you are simply trying to dial up the internet on 2 PCs at one time that arent networked and both have modems, your line is being used by one PC and you cant dialup on the other one! Give details on how your systems are configured and networked if you want a direct anser!

Internet Options
Connections
Lan Settings
In second half you see section of proxy server. There you put proxy which has been provided by your network provider, If not then call then and get one (As its very imp) then put the port no: too. Say ok ok ok and come out. Close browser and open new one and ill work this time.

I did a be conscious assume some junk textual content in be conscious, dbl spaced, arial font, length 12 and got here up with 288 words. 2000/250 = 8 pages... i might want to bypass with 8 pages.

Is one computer connecting through the other ?
If yes you may need to enable internet connection sharing on the one with the modem.
If you are swapping the modem from computer to computer then
A) are you sure it is conecting ?
B) your settings are most likely wrong, check for use assigned ip address/dns server/gateway
