Buying the right shirt is important!!!! don't just use any shirt that has a cuff whole - you must go out and ask your Taylor/retailer for a 'Double Cuff' shirt. it will have no buttons and the cuffs will be folded, with a whole each side.

Its difficult to describe, but the cuff link should be placed through all four wholes (two each side because the cuff has been folded) so that the side with the pattern or art work etc. is facing out and the link facing inwards. Don't try to link the cuff to form a round shape - it should form a tear drop like shape once fastened correctly.

I wear mine in work most days, dont know why I like them so much haha It will depend on where he works, if its smart casual it should be fine, but if its shirts and ties then maybe not. not sure where the best place to buy them is sorry.
