Ug. Tough one. I know this is wierd but consider your question with me in the place of God. Is it against the will of Charles? In order to have an answer to that question you have to know me pretty well. But you can make some basic asumtions. I like people and I wish everyone well. (almost, :p) I hope God is similar-like about it. So "against [my] will"? Heckno! But its not in my will either. My plans and purposes have little to do with that. And you know? I dont think God's plans and purposes have anything to do with it either. He has his own stuff. This is not to say that 'this guy trying to get rich' isnt involved in those plans and purposes, but 'his' getting a porsche isnt. So 'he' isnt against the will of God, but he probably isnt in it either. Nor the will of Charles for that matter. Unless its the porshe is red.
ps. Christian texts. Matt 25:14-28, clearly this God aint 'ginst cash
pps. "When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Luke 18:22 NIV

It's God's will for you to be the best person you can be.To be strong and over come. You might have been born poor but God blessed you with desire to be more then you are,The best anyone can do for there families, church, community, children,or future children is to be successful enough to take care of yourself and those your responsible for ,Give God a break on asking for a meal on the table everyday, and use the brains he gave you to earn your own meals and maybe feed a few of his sheep too.

God doesn't always intend for the poor person to be stuck as a poor person.
If it truly were the will of God to keep that person poor, that person would know it, and not proceed to being rich.
God does NOT will people to suffer.

Well I think that would depend on the intentions of that person....if he wants to be rich in the kingdom of heaven or on earth.....or if he wishes to give the riches to the needy...Jesus was born of a poor family....he was the son of a Carpenter.....and also he was the son of God.....so I don't think it is the manor in which you are born.....it is the manor in which you live your life and do the will of the lord....if you live your life according to the will of God and he blesses you with wealth and so on then that is the will of God....

Just because he was born in a poor family, it doesn't mean it was God's will for him to be poor.

NO
like someone else mentioned God wants us to do better.
I believe he gives us life to see what we can do with it. I was born into a poor family and went against all odds and now I have made a better future for myself.

*** noooooooooo. perhaps God just wants him to actually earn his $$$ so he can feel the pride rather than just having it handed to him. if it was God's will that he be poor then him becoming rich simply wouldn't happen. and i don't believe God would stand in anyones way like that. if u want something and u set out to get it u will.

Absolutely not. It's what you do with your wealth that matters. It's not the issue of whether you are rich or not. God wants the best for all of us.

Gods will is related to the wealth of the Heart, there was no Gold given to Adam and Eve. Money is Man made.
