It depends on their level of rudeness. Extreme rudeness calls for a definite response. No one has the right to treat others with disrespect.

If they are a customer service representative, I'd confront them and say, "Having a bad day?" If it's a one time thing, like an enraged driver, I would slow down, look over and flip them off. If it was a friend being rude, I'd laugh at them. If it was anyone else, I'd ignore them, kind of like water off a duck's back.

Most rude answers on here I ignore.

If someone is rude to me in person, I let them know I don't like it. I'm very outspoken.

On Y!A I just ignore them. I can't tolerate rudeness directed at me in life. Chances are, I'd say something to humble them.

It depends on my mental state. When I'm sensitive, I respond to nearly everything. Then there are the times where even when someone's going on in a rant about me, I keep my cool.
