Buffy. It started well and maintained it's style all the way through. The X-Files was ok for the first two series, but then tried to be to clever, and got to a point where, even if you had watched the rest of the series, missing one episode would mean that you have no idea what the hell is going on. While there were ongoing storylines in buffy, it was still possible to watch each episode as an individual story, and it would still make sense, regardless of how much of the rest of the series you had seen.

Buffy and it's spin off Angel!! I like David Duchovny but can't put up with The X-Files. Buffy is a pretty clever show. And a lot of hot guys!!

Buffy. It was the one show my kids and I (they were teenagers then) watched together every week. There were a few episodes that weren't great, but overall, the series had good writing and good relationships, and a good combination of humor and suspense. I wish Joss Whedon would do another TV series!

Buffy, I mean come on vampires, aliens are cool, but I like Star Trek aliens over mystery aliens any day, Pointy teeth a chicks that can kick anyones but, and that it hot? Whats not to love?
