will my friend be okay? She has just informed me that she took an overdose of paracetamol last night (only 20 tablets though), a few hours later she experienced nausea and vomited for several hours. She seems fine now, surely all the vomiting is a good sign that her body has flushed it all out of her system?

Just be safe, call poison control, and then make sure she seeks professional assistance for whatever deeper issue is causing her to take 20 tablets of paracetamol.

I suggest just taking one Depending on the type and brand, even one tablet can be much more then u actually require If you overdose on tablets, then yes your going to push your kidneys and develop kidney stones, urinary tract infection or even kidney faliure but if it doesnt say your overdosing on the box, then your not (amount depends on brand, so you need to read the box, which you did) By eating 4 tablets your just peeing out all the vitamins because your body is not going to absrob most of those vitamins. So as my proffesors say, your just buying "expenisve urine" If you look at your urine and its a dark yellow or amber colour, thats all the vitamins your peeing out good luck to you
