The real rich ones often buy shoes at Sears & spend their $$ on boats and horses and houses.
Brand names are a high school / teeny bopper thing or drug dealers trying to pass.
Grown ups and rich people mostly don't waste time on kiddie obsessions. (especially tennis shoes)
