Is it a myth or does it really curb the urge to stick something?

I've never taken a cold shower before. The thought of a cold shower gives me the chills.

Ha! Well, it does make you colder and coldness tends to make men shrink. Of course if they're REALLY aroused, it might not actually help much. As far as the "urge to stick something", if whomever you're talking about is a mature adult male, he'll stop if you ask him to stop. Otherwise, he's not really respecting you or your decisions, is he?

Not at all. Sudden cold shock from a cold shower will often reduce an erection quickly that you don't want, but otherwise have no effect on your sex drive.
Swimming in cold water is often a turn-on, so overall it doesnt work.

It works on my boyfriend! I don't think its biological at all, its just so uncomfortable that it kills the mood. Besides, the penis and balls retract closer to the body when they are exposed to cold, so chances are, Mr.stiffy will no longer be standing at attention. It works really well if you turn the hot water off without him noticing- then he's just so peeved that he isn't thinking about sex! :)

i never felt the need to take a cold shower, it'll go away if you stop thinking about it.

nope i dont think they do **** i love it really i love to have sex wit a female in the cold it makes it feel better plus i cud last up to 10 hrs if i wanted to with out cumin. maybe differnt with other guys tho. idk
