LoL. I like the way you think. If it were literal "X-RAY" vision, you'd see the bones, and tumors of the folks you looked at. But would dose them with radiation..

X-rays are an actual type of light that's denser than regular light, invisible to humans and can penetrate certain objects (which makes it harmful to us). You could see concrete, bone, steel, it'd be a freaky site until you got used to a bunch of skeletons walking around. And you could always tell who was packing.
Now, if you had some sort of philosophical "see through anything" vision, well sure, you'd see nothing. Unless there's something beyond our comprehension, and then you might see it. You might gaze upon the face of God.
Wouldn't that be cool...

I've actually thought about this (no, really) and I figure that having x-ray vision (or infrared vision, or ultraviolet vision) would be like having regular vision. You learn to focus on certain things, ignore everything else, and your brain interprets what you're looking at.
Think about it. How much information comes at your eyes in visible light in a day? LOADS! Do you actually "see" everything that passes in front of you? No, only what you focus on.

X rays dont go through everything, maybe just thinner objects, there a wave. So like light they bounce off things, letting u see the object.

X-rays do no longer bypass with the aid of each and everything. Calcium in our bones stops x rays. this is why x rays are taken to work out if our bones are broken. So in case you have X ray imaginitive and prescient, you will see a skeleton. :)

Only if you couldn't turn it off and it was infinitely powerful besides.
Ever wondered why we can close our eyes but not our ears? It probably has to do with living in small groups with lots of predators sneaking around. You couldn't see them at night (nights in the country are *really* dark, which some city dwellers don't realize), you could only hear them, and any people that might have been able to close their ears probably got eaten before they could have children.

I don't think so..... Perhaps too, it would depend on the extent of ones vision.... or in what objects it is possible to see through....
