Is he being fooled? Probably. If I were going through a market like that, I'd ask both merchants for a demonstration. If the dildo could penetrate anything, and the vagina shield could never be penetrated, then they'd most likely destroy each other if they were used against one another... and it'd be an awesome show, to boot.
But if one were revealed as a scam, then the other just might be real. Then I might just buy it, were I in his shoes. Then I'd go see a urologist.
