yes, very much required, because of the current days influence and conscious levels (are very low)! Peer pressure is too strong and kids need emotional support very often because these days you wont even find good friends genuienly interested in each others affairs. Very much reasons by parents need to badly build the friendship bond with their kids early on!

YES YES YES !!!!!!!!!!!!! definetely - Im a Nanny-Educator in Auckland NZ - and i see and hear my fair share!!!! The children tell me - forgetting im an adult as well as there friend. The stuff they know at 8 - i didnt know til i was 18!!!!! they grow up so fast - yes keep a closer watch!!

yes I think so...in the past I think parent's thought it was alot safer out there so they wouldn't keep as close eye on them as now...things have changed...our society has changed alot...you need to keep a very close watch on children..

well sometimes they have to. . . .
but i believe that if a parent trusts their child then thats enough. . . and to make sure that the child believes in it. . . . . not just to say that i trust my son/daughter but behind there back you dont!!! you have to trust them so that they learn to keep it!!

there is a lot of stuff that they can get themselves into these days, you could always kid proof a room so that you are not to scared to leave them alone
