My daughter loads the dryer full and insists on doing all items including jeans on the delicate cycle. It is a gas dryer but it seems to me it would take longer, meaning more electricity, to dry a large load. Is this enough of a difference to be concerned about in terms of the gas/electric bill?

It all pretty much balances itself out i wouldnt worry to much about it. think about it this way, how much would it cost to replace delicate clothing that was ruined.

Your daughter needs some help in the "home improvements dept" but that's another story. You are "wasting" you dryer and time doing them this way. In a long run it's probably costing you money.

i doubt it makes a lot of difference but its kind of stupid to do jeans on gentle when they can take heat. such is life, its her business. it might keep them from shrinking so much.
