If you are in the UK and your ISP is NTL or Telewest Cable, then it is because NTL/Telewest is blocking hi5 or their DNS server has a problem or something like that.

you can use a 3rd party proxy server to see hi5 pages. A list of free proxy servers can be found at:
http://tools.rosinstrument.com/cgi-bin/fp.pl/showlines?lines=100&sortor=3
The part after the colon (:) is the port number, eg for:
supercache6.qualitynet.net:80
The port number is 80.

Or with 83.66.73.6:3128 The port number is 3128

In Internet Explorer, from the top menu, go: Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Tick "Use a proxy server...", then paste in the proxy server address but delete the port number, then type the port number in the "Port:" field.

Try different proxy servers (and not the top ones in the list as those never work). Some work for hi5 and some do not. Some let you see the pages only and not log in.

When you find one that works, I suggest you use it only for viewing hi5 and turn it off for normal browsing (by un-ticking the "Use a proxy server..." box) to limit the security risk issues (whoever owns the proxy server may be able to see your password when you log onto a website through the proxy).

Please also phone NTL/Telewest and complain to them so that they wil fix it. Or maybe switch your ISP to somethig else not on cable.
