he is horrible
he was to concerned with going to war in a war that we shouldnt be in and wasnt concerned with the problem of american jobs being sent over seas. i live just outside of detroitand the big three (ford, gm, crystler) are all send manufacturing jobs over seas. and i hate it when i have to call for tech support and i get some guy in india named "Sam" speaking to me with such a heavy accent that what ever it is im trying to fix gets even worse.
instead of picking this war and comitting the murder of now 3,000 american men and women, our "president" should have been creating incentives for companies who keep american jobs in america.

Hello,
I do think President Bush is doing a good job and is a good President. He has many burdens that he is handling.
The United States and our Allies had to invade Iraq and get Saddam out of power. He commited the most henious acts towards those that apposed him and even his own people. He was a sadistic madman.
The Middle East is a very vilotile area of the world and we had better keep our eyes on them.
Like you, I am saddened by the loss of life among our military there and the civilian loss. But unfortunately that is what War is.
I don't think Kerry would have done a better job, just a different job.
But what really is at the bottom of all this is America is divided. A Nation divided..well, you know, united, we stand, divided we fall.
Look at the results of the 2004 Election.
President Bush - 286 Electoral Votes (need 270 to win)
VOTE % 51%
62,040,606 VOTE
Kerry - 252 Electoral Votes
48% VOTE %
59,028,109 VOTE
And the 2000 Presidential Election Results
Candidates Votes Vote % Electoral Votes
Gore 50,996,116 48 % 266
Bush 50,456,169 48 % 271
Let's hope we have a candidate in 2008 that America can get behind and reunite America.
Meanwhile, let us stand behind our President! This one and the next! Support them, pray for them!
Did you know that being disrespectful of our President, in any shape or form is an Act of Treason? No, you won't be charged with it, but the fact remains the same.
God Bless President Bush and all of us!
Thank you for reading my opinion! :)

The public is essentially stupid about war. At the time he sent troops, everyone applauded him. I was in Washington at the time and seriously doubted that the American public has the guts to support a long drawn out war, which is what this would be. Bush did what he thought was right and popular. He was wrong in that assessment.
This is being made a political argument raqther than a US policy argument, which it should be. Clearly the right thing to do is get troops out of there, but in a way that preserves Iraq. TO do outerwise is irresponsible. I believe the president wants this AND STATES THIS REGULARLY, but everyone harps on the past and do not discuss the future and do not listen to what he is saying. It is embarassing to be an American in this population of idiots, especially the press who are purely looking to vilify the president rather than listen.
Yeah, things could have been done better but the loss of 5000 or more in a major war is not unexpected. When we leave, the loss of life should go down even for Iraqis. EVERYONE that KNOWS the situation say that now is not the time. .

I think you are buying into the media garbage that is distorting a lot of the good Bush has done or tried to do.
Had we not been attacked by terrorists in 2001, President Bush would likely have concentrated on Tax cuts, Social Security reform and a number of other domestic issues.
In World War II there were days we lost more than 3000 dead. We stand a good chance of being a wide open target for people who would like to see you and I in our graves because we don't have the backbone to see this thing through.
I give Bush high marks for resolve. I hope the rest of us get the message at some point.
Those 3000 U-S soldiers died to keep you and me safe. If we don't respect their cause they will have died in vain because we won't be safe.

Well, like all presidents, Bush has good points and bad points. The war in Iraq could have been handled more ethically, but I support his reasons for the war. Even though I am a Christian, I believe that Bush is pandering to the "Christian right-wing" too much, as church and state should be kept seperate. I believe that Bush did a horrible job with the hurricane "Katrina" and the hurricane in Houston a week later. He did not have enough "National Guard" help back home, because most of them were friggin' in Iraq. Bush' 2001 $300.00 tax break was a well intentioned, but very skimpy attempt to spur the economy. I guess what am trying to say is that Bush tried, but he failed. Bill Clinton may have been a seedy person, but I think he was one of our best presidents in recent history, on a par with Reagan, Truman, Kennedy, and F. Roosevelt.

I guess if you're in the oil business he's doing an okay job but I don't think he's doing a very good job for the average American.
There have been 3,353 American troops killed in Afghanistan and Iraq and more than 22,000 wounded. Total cost to Americans - over $350 billion.
That was because the terrorists went and killed 2,752 in the WTC attack.
Then there's the response to the hurricanes that didn't go so well.
Then all those corporate frauds a few years ago.
I have a notion that he might not be the best man ever in that job.

George Bush never admitted it was a bad idea to send troops to Iraq. I think he is doing an ok job. He could do better. But, at least we have'nt been attacked on U.S. soil since 9/11/2001

He is an average president. He hasn't done anything that another wouldn't have done. The people that think he is the best or worse or even in the top ten are mindless sheep that are just listening to their party line. Kerry was a boob also and would have done just as mediocre a job as Bush.

I'm sorry, have you ever served in the military? How would you know what it's like for a soldier? Bush is an excellent president, the best we've had in a long time. He cares about our military more than Clinton ever did. Clinton rarely bothered to acknowledge the military. The men and women who serve are the ones you should be asking. Would you rather they started firing in YOUR backyard or at YOUR mall? You should be thankful we took it to them instead of them bringing it to us like it would have been.

My opinion is that Bush or Mickey Mouse would of gone to war.
There are powers beyond us that we can't comprehend. I betja Kerry would of taken us there too. It is very easy for political parties to point fingers at each other putting on blame on each.
Bush just admitted he was wrong to appease the public. I thinkt his war has been in the works sinse Clinton and maybe before him. And yeah, there were parts of weapons of mass destruction.....that was true, but over used just to appease the world and the American Pulblc. Iraq trucked every thing out of the country. The powers to be in this world are stronger than we ever imagined. There are things going on that would blow the general publics minds.
Does that mean I am pro Bush or pro war. NOPE
I am just realistic. There will be wars and rumors of wars............
until the end of time here on earth..

he has the right idea of helping the middle east with there problems. Ok i am sick and tired of people saying omg 3000 ppl died. WHEN YOU JOIN THE SERVICE THEN YOU KNOW YOU CAN DIE. People are not drafter anymore so everyone goes in there willingly to sacrifice there lives for the greater good. Hopefully people can
realize this eventually.
