It's possible.

I believe that love is gender blind and a straight man can find himself falling in love with another man, still completely attracted to women and utterly not attracted to men, but emotionally and sexually satisfied with that one man he loves. Same with a straight woman falling in love with another woman. It definitely has happened before. Or a gay man falling in love with a woman (Tom Robinson is actually quite famous for this), or a lesbian falling in love with a man.

But it is rare- most people don't come across this, and a lot who think they have may, in fact, be bisexual or gay/lesbian/straight themselves, and simply unaware of the fact, or in denial about it. But it is possible, and don't listen to anyone who tells you you're gay or straight or bisexual- listen to your desires; they're the best indicator.

Good luck.

I think it is possible, but more often than not, the future is a little on the bleak side for such relationships. I know the reverse is true, as I am continually finding myself falling for straight guys. I realize it's a waste of time, but tell that to my heart. Straight guys often love the attention that is showered upon them by queer guys, but you can't get a leopard to change their spots, and even if you do, those spots are bound to return when you least expect it.

At the end of the day, falling in love with a straight guy will drive you to despair. Hey, you can't live with them and you can't live without em!

Unless our society has now decided to completely equate the terms "love" and "sex" I must respectfully disagree with the above answers (with one exception). Love takes many forms and not all encompass the sexual dimension. So yes, it is very possible for a straight man to fall in love with a gay man or with another straight man. All these labels are
freaking mental straitjackets anyway. Throw away the labels, people. Let some fresh air into your lives.

Well its possible for a certain extent! It depends on the attraction u have towards that gay guy.It could be a fraternal feeling which is brotherly love.It could be a love u have for a friend. The love you have towards a friend is very pure unless it has nothing to do with lust.Man maybe u are also having a love towards that guy as a friend. If u admire that guy as a sportsman, a singer or in any other way u will tend to like that guy.For instance lets take Elton John,Darren hayes! They are gay but they are good singers and therefore you may like them and if the person is intimate to you then you could get attracted to him in any way except sexually.(If so u cant call urself straight)This is same with females too.You get heaps of women who admire other womens beauty, longing to see them and wish if they have that beauty too.But they are simply straight as long as they dont have sexual lust!

But it should not be sexual attraction and if u think you are straight and sexually attracted to another guy(gay, straight or bi) then certainly u have to be bisexual!

cando 86 says"straight man can find himself falling in love with another man, still completely attracted to women and utterly not attracted to men, but emotionally and sexually satisfied with that one man he loves". Actually he is wrong.Even if u are attracted to a one man sexually then it means you have a sexual attraction on dat guy which clearly indicates you are not straight(u cud be gay or bi). There is no difference in getting attracted to a one man or several men in a sexual manner.

So what is important to you is to find out the nature of your love(or attraction) towards the other gay guy.You should discover the exact way you like him.If it is not sexual lust then still u cud be straight otherwise u cud be bi or gay!

Is this the perfect answer ?inform me

Ummm, NO! If you love the gay in a gay way then you are gay. If you love them as a friend in a non-sexual way then you are a friend. Friends love friends. Falling in love indicates that you are feelin feelings that involve "doin' it". If you do it with a dude you are gay also. Being gay is okay! Just don't try to ride the fence. Your dad will freak out. Mom too. That Bi thing is BS. Allof this is according to someone who saw it on Oprah. Take it that way.

Probably not. Straight guys don't WANT to love a gay guy. That's why they're STRAIGHT.

If a straight guy fell in love with a gay guy, then that straight guy would actually discover he is bi-sexual.

There was a friend of mine a long time ago that I am sure was in love with me - as I was with him - it was a star crossed lover sort of thing - nothing physical happened - but I am sure we loved one another.

The term, "straight", pre-determines that you are attracted to females only. However, you could be "Bi"sexual .. and find yourself attracted to a guy. (Or, gay, of course). Good Luck! :)
