Cho Hakkai is so HANDSOME!! He is my favourite character!! Haha.. Well, he looks cute is any way. I like it when he tends to tease Sanzo. I think he is the only person Sanzo can stand. Haha. He is always lucky as he always wins the bets. His intuition must be really good!! Well, just don't make him angry lol. When he is angry, go far away!! Haha. And he has known Gojyo for a long time already. He is like a substitute mother for Goku. haha. I totally like him lol!! But his sad past always makes me cry.. *Sobs*

I like him but i like the most Son Goku.. But i'll tell you more about Cho Hakkai..
Hakkai was accepted into a research college at the age of 15, and there he studied physics and theology. That was also when he was reunited with Kanan. He studied lock-picking by correspondence. Hakkai's role as the "mother" figure is not exclusive to the Sanzo-ikkou; according to the novel based upon Hakkai's life Kanan was very masculine - she was a tough woman who would challenge a cockroach's advance before she would grab a book and smash it - Hakkai having to clean up after her. She was tough on the outside and soft inside; whereas Hakkai at the time was not a very kind-hearted person. Hakkai and Kanan lived together until they were three, when their parents divorced. Kanan was in custody of her father and Hakkai remained with his mother. When Hakkai was five his mother went missing and he was then sent to the orphanage. According to Sanzo, Hakkai sleeps with his eyes open, and sometimes giggles in his sleep. That's all I know about him.

All four male male characters in Saiyuki are pretty boys, he's the most gentle of them all though.
Like his inspiration from the originial Saiyuki character (Hakkai was the pig and regulary drive the white horse, who used to be a white dragon), his 'sin' is to be in love too much to one girl. Unlike his inspiration, he's not a girl chaser.

yeah. goku's cute too, but hakkai's the most handsome.
hard to imagine that his character corresponds with a pig (zhu bajie) in journey to the west.
