i would prefer a nitendo Wii for many reasons. even ps3 wont make is no as good...

It depends on your taste of games.
If you like Shooters, Racing and sport games, then the Xbox will be a good platform for you, as there are a lot of great games in this categories.
The Xbox 360 also has the best online gaming experience of all currently available consoles.
With a Xbox Live Gold membership, you will be able to play against real people through the Internet.
And if just playing is not enough for you:
You can connect your PC and the Xbox, so you can listen to MP3s from your PC on the Xbox. Or watch movies from your PC.
If you have a Windows Media Center PC, then you can use the Xbox as a Media Extender, and view TV, listen to music, watch your pictures from your digital camera etc. on your big TV.
You can download free game demos through the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can buy fun minigames there, too (like Poker, classic arcade games like "Street Fighter 2" or even the classic "Doom").
In the US, there is even a service to buy TV shows or rent full Movies. Many of them in High Definition.
So, all in all: Yes, the 360 is worth buying. However it still depends on your gaming preferences.

YES totally worth it. own it and it's awesome. All the games are great and have awesome grapics even with out a highdefenition TV. I don't even play x-box live on my 360 and it's still awesome. PLus Halo 3 is going to be only for the 360 and it'll be awesome. It will be worth it. It doesn't over heat...it's got great graphics....theres games for my lil' brother, my sisters, me, and even my mom and dad.....it's small and can fit anywhere........and it looks godd in your living room.....the faceplates can change so you can make it match your paint, wallpaper, wood, furnature...anything! It's worth it!

Yes the 360 is the best game system out right now. If you buy it make sure you get a xbox live gold membership it's incredible youll be addicted to it in notime.

definitely not. the ps3 is WAY!!!!! better but i recommend buying it from the U.S or maybe any other country(if u hav contacts) as it will be very expensive in India. I've researched the internet and now i'm sure that buying the ps3(or getting ur contacts to buy it for you) is better than spending about 25000 on an xbox 360.

i think its not.ps3 is better choice even though the difference in the cost is 1 or 2 thousands.ps3 has many features including 20/60 hdd space.we can insert in it sd,mmc cards and also memory sticks .it also depends upon the games you like.ps3 had the future generation discs of bluray.we can play ps2 and ps games also.we can watch movies and listen to songs also.xbox360 is also wonderful from the point of view of gaming but in al other aspects ps3 is good.try it please

i don't think so, but hubby and my son love it!
there aren't that many games that go with it, and to get the disk to 'reformate' or whatever it is, its horrible and you got to be smarter than me to download it !

NO IT IS NOT WORTH. BUY PLAYSTATION 3 AND YOU CAN PLAY GAMES IN CD AND PLAY GAMES FROM INTERNET.
