they might look as much alike as normal brothers and sisters, but they would not look like identical twins. my grandmother and her sister married my grandfather and his brother, ofcourse they were not twins but the kids didnt look much alike at all. however genetically they were all as close as brother and sister instead of cousins normal closeness.

Not necessarily. If a mother and a father that were both born with identical twins has several sets of twins, all of their children don't look alike. Each set of "new twins" has their own genetic make up. It would be the same if the brothers and sisters were having babies. Each of their "sets of twins" would have a different gentic make-up. One set of parents could have boys and the other girls. I'm sure they would have similarities due to the fact that all their parents look alike.

I saw a show where identical twins married identical twins and they both had sets of identical twin boys about six months apart and the boys all looked identical, but this is not always the case, because identical twins are not hereditary only fraternal twins are. That was just a wierd coincidence.

lol what a great question. i would assume they would look similiar, but because of differnt dna for each set of twins born to the twin parents maybe not. it's possible for siblings born from the same parents to look nothing alike or very similiar. makes you think though.

well...I have an identical twin sister and we both had daughters 6 months apart. THEY LOOK NOTHING ALIKE. Babies often look like their dads at birth. Providing they have different fathers....not so much.

That's a great question! but it is possible. They would probably look the same. Then you have this whole sperm and egg issue, because i mean different sperm different dna and stuff you know? so they could wind up looking sort of the same. I love that question! lol We have a smart person that thinks! lol

That's a spinny question. There are so many variables to consider. The particular sperm, egg from each twim at the time they would both concieve? I guess it' s possible, but probably unlikly. They could be very similar though!! Thanks for giving me something to think about!!

Not necessarily because sperms and eggs only have half of the dna in them. The sperm and egg combinations can be different leading to different appearances.
