No. Boise State will finish sixth, leapfrogging Louisville and West Virginia. Hawaii's and Oregon State's bowl wins will help reinforce that. Because of what's going on in the BSC games, the best Louisville and Wisconsin can do is win and stay in their current rankings. (I said West Virginia - what the hell was I thinking?)
If Notre Dame beats LSU, fifth is possible for Boise State, and if Michigan is voted down both for losing and because of USC's weak schedule, fourth in the rankings is also possible.
The loser of OSU v Florida will drop no lower than third. LSU could climb to third or second if they destroy Notre Dame, but they will finish at least fourth with a victory.
If anyone disagrees with "USC's weak schedule", explain these six results:
USC 20- 3 Arizona (4-5, 6-6)
USC 28-22 Washington State (4-5, 6-6)
USC 26-20 Washington (3-6, 5-7)
USC 28-21 Arizona State (4-5, 7-5)
USC 31-33 Oregon State
USC 9-13 UCLA (5-4, 7-5)
And of the four Arizona and Washington teams, *all* of their wins came against sub-.500 or I-AA teams. Only the desperate would call that "domination" by USC.

if Florida beats Ohio that would make them champions. but i know what you mean, the winner of the ROSE bowl(USC) will be ranked no 1. next year. but after a very impressive victory over Oklahoma i think the confidence for Boise St. is way up and the way they played tonight they might have a shot at the BCS title game next year. we'll have to wait and see. GO NOTRE DAME

Florida is not going to beat Ohio State. There were three Big 10/SEC match ups in the bowls. Wisconsin and Arkansas (Wisconsin won), Tennessee and Penn State (Penn State won), and Ohio State and Florida. The SEC is supposed to be the strongest conference in college football, but its not looking that way. When Ohio State demolishes Florida, that will put the icing on the cake.

I agree..not in the top ten but maybe they can be #1 in their college division...it does sound like there should be a revamping of the BSC so the underdogs have a fighting chance to really be the true #1...but only if they do play a few teams on the top 15 list...Now I got myself confused!! Oh well...

not a chance. Just because a team has a "0" in the loss column doesn't mean it's the best team. that's black & white thinking.
If Boise played in the SEC, Florida''s conference, they would probably finish the season 6-6.

i think of Hollyaoks through fact it has had some fab storylines over the final 365 days. Silas' get away, the bus crash, Brendans loss of life, Esthers bullying and so on. yet I doubt it is going to win. Out of the others i could say Corrie as this is been good particularly through fact of Kirsty/Tyrone and the Lewis/Gail storylines. Emmerdales stay eppie and Carls homicide replaced into good yet that has long previous downhill at present. Eastenders i finished staring at its so undesirable!
