Its very common in women, especially athletic women, to miss their periods. They will have it one month, miss a month, have it the next, etc. It is also common for a working woman with a higher stress level in her job (for example sales/merchandising in the 4th business quarter) to miss her period. In the first case its due to physical stress, in the second, mental stress.

I hope this helps.

You can go along your whole life and have regular periods and then one day it can all change. Mine were regular for years and then sometimes I would miss 2 or 3 in a row. It scared me to death, but I was told by my doctor that it was caused by stress. I have found that my cycle can do just about anything it wants to. Sorry, but the body is a strange thing. If you've had a blood test, I wouldn't worry.

Well, I don't know how old you are. That could be a big factor in your period being late. Have you gained or lost a lot of weight recently? Are you underweight? There are many factors that make your period late. Pregnancy just being one of them. Hormones are a complicated matter. If you are still very concerned you should make an appointment to see a Gynecologist.

Zuleyka, you're not alone. Some girls are also experiencing the same thing. It's because hormones are unpredictable. If you did already a test more than once and the result is negative. Cheer up! You're not pregnant. I'ts just a hormonal imbalance.

sudden drop in hormones, are you nervous, overly active in physical sports, on a strict weight loss diet? those things can involve your periods too, but for the best idea go to an gyn and have a complete check up.

stress, hormones, etc.....but i wouldn't rule out pregnancy just yet, i think it's pretty common to get false negatives especially in the very early weeks of pregnancy
