ok right now im not talkin to my cousins and there talkin behind my back but i can tell that there talkin about me what should i do i dont wanna talk to them the reason why i am not talkin is becuz they gossip alot about ppl including me and they like to call there aunts the b word alot especially when my aunts tell them to do sumthing i mean arent they being hypocritcs everytime i ask them are you talkin about me there always say that your not speciall and why do you think were always talkin about you there always gossiping behind there aunts and cursing begind there backs as well they dont show no sign of respect at all and my aunts think that they respect but they dont!! at all what should i do ?? and my 15 yr old cousin doesnt respect her mom at all like everytime she gets grounded form the phone she doesnt listen to her mom and she talks on the phone anyways thats not showin respect is it? or cursing out your own mom or talkin about her?

I'm sorry about what's going on. when people are gossiping, even family, just tell them that you don't care to hear it, and hang up if you're on the phone. if you're in person with them, just tell them that you don't want to hear it, and that you won't have any part in it. gossip hurts people. and you just have to be strong and don't get involved in doing it. you sound like a real sweetheart and just don't want anyone to get hurt or be disrespected. and I think you're a very mature person for handling things the way you are. and don't pay any attention to people who gossip about you. they usually do it because they're jealous of you. just hang in there and keep being that good example to your cousins. you're showing them that you're a lot stronger person than any of them by choosing to not gossip.

Respect is somethin' that needs to be taught it sounds like your cousins didn't get the hard core respect lesson. I said the b word in front of my mama 1 time and she punched me in the mouth (knocked a tooth out) and I never said it again.they just think that they sound cool bad mouthin' there moms. and the moms just don't want to see that there kids are out of control. If i got grounded from the phone and went to pick it up to use my mama said does you want them fingers broke? Someone best be dieing if your goina pick up that phone! and i sorry to say there ain't nothing you can do about it there moms should of done something about it be for it was too late.and if they don't have respect for themselves they will never be able to respect anyone else. gossiping is just there way of throwing other ppl in to there pitty party. you sound like a respectful person and that good stay that way.one of the thing that i learned from my mama before she died was respect it was a hard road but I'm glad I fallowed it. Don't let them bring you down!!

Everybody does it only some more than otheres, I don't think you should get into that eventually all there B.S talk will get them in trouble all on there own, someones gonna hear them and that will be that, don't get into it, cause you're just gonna get involved and then they'll talk moore trash about you, just screw them and there potty mouths and stick to being the way you which seems to be a whole lot more level headed than those cousins of yours, ignore those gossips, they probobly just like hearing themselves whine.

Aren't you gossiping? Run-on sentences are confusing. Anyways. Why do people like gossiping?
A) They're insecure about themselves.
B) They're bored.
C) They fear silence.
D) It's the "cool" thing to do.
In any case, it's never a good thing to do, and you'll just have to learn to deal with the fact that some people do it. Be the bigger person and just let it go. It may hurt to have other people talking about you, but think of it as their insecurity/immaturity and move on!

People are just bored. Some gossip for that reason. Could be revenge, or they dont like their life and want to make someone elses worse so they can feel better about themselves.

because they're low lifes that dont' have anything good to do. tell them to stop. i'm an asian and we belive that respect is lyke one of the greatest things ever well. if someone was like that. i'd fix it on my own.
