22 years old. We took a trip for a conference and took a day trip off to the ocean. I was shocked at how far one could see without seeing anything whatsoever. The salt created a bad taste in my mouth when it was force in by the waves. I have not seen the ocean since.

I must have been a small child, and it was extraordinary indeed, it still is every time I see it. I love the ocean and most definitely do not take it for granted. It is a truly amazing wonder, to me :)

My grandparents had a vacation house that was 10 minutes away from the beach. I went there every summer until I was 16. I love the ocean and I will always live along the coastline.

I lived right next to the ocean in California it was great the water was so warm and hot sand between your toes. We moved to Oregon when I was 12 and I miss being so close, it is 3 hours away and very cold water. But the beaches here are very clean.

I was about a year old. I obviously don't remember it, but my family rented a summer house down the shore every year. No I don't take it for granted

I was 9, I will never forget it. I fell in love with it then, and I am still in love with it. There is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the waves rolling and breaking. It is the most beautiful thing in all of nature.

I'm not really sure. I was young though. My family used to take trips up to half moon bay every summer and we'd stop and have lunch on the beach. But there was one time in particular that I remember. I was extremely fascinated by the beauty of it and how I could feel all that life out there. but then I got in trouble for putting my feet in the water. wtf?!
