This is the genesis of 007. This movie shows him before he becomes that playboy, and before he gets technology. He was raw and unpolished and emotional. And he was more physical - really a more manly Bond. I prefer him this way actually. Though maybe not blond. lol

thats because in Casino Royale, it was when he just recieved his double-o status, and havent gained gadgets yet; and the reason why he fell in love and she died, is so that he learned a lesson, not to love....
