Well, I'm not married, and I would have a husband, not a wife. But I think the best HUSBAND would be someone who would always be loyal and devote himself to me, not any other woman. He'd love me even if I'm stupid, and he'd never hurt me. He'd always defend me and be on my side, even if I'm wrong. He'd be nice and caring and love to help our neighbors and our relatives, but he'd love me and our children the most and love his family. Money, politics and career would never come above family for him, but he would still work to support us. However, work would never be more important, and he'd always make time for the family. He would have an open mind and a sense of humor. And all at the same time, he would be stunningly attractive. What a perfect husband he would be! Sadly, I'll never find one. And I doubt anyone will ever find a wife like that, either.

My mom was the best wife. She was up at 5am making dads lunch and getting his breakfast ready every morning. SHe would do the banking/paying bills. Also looked after the kids, making sure they have everything thye needed. When dad got home, supper was on the table. SHe baked for him too. In the evening she made him an evening snack and tea. When bed time came she went with him everynight. They never fought, and always kissed in the moring and before bed. He was very happy to have her. She wanted a smooth house and to please her man becuase she loved him soooo much. She even wrote him love letters when he was out of town, and told him how much she loved him. They were togeather 43 years till death due them part.

What a good wife is or does depends on what the husband likes. My husband likes when I make his lunch for him before he goes to work, give him the freedom to go golfing when he wants (with in reason) and be there for him when he needs you. There is no good answer for being the "best wife", you just have to find the little things that he likes and do them. Your husband may like it if you iron his shirts for him, or help him remember special days like his mothers birthday.

My wife is the best wife I have had. And I Have had three.
Basically she is my best friend with benefits. She get's me, she likes me for all my wierdness, not only accpets me, but loves who I am, good and bad.
Basically she is just as ****** up as I am.
Oh, and we have great sex too. But that is just a bi-product of all of the above.

She is a beautiful person. She has great character and virtue. She is a good wife to me, she is my best friend and ally and never leaves my side. I would love her and give the same back to her and gladly.
