"Jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz" is an even shorter sentence for testing your typing skills or equipment. How much dirt is contained in a hole 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet?
None. It is a hole. There is, however, 27 cubic feet of air in it. This might sound like a handy way to obtain 27 cubic feet of air, but it's not. As soon as you move the air to a different elevation, or to a location where the temperature is different, it would change its volume. (Source: Bennet Cerf's big book of riddles, and Wikipedia)

"The right to bear arms" as proposed by the second amendment has nothing to do with citizens owning guns. It refers to the unfortunate necessity of a well-armed militia to protect our nation. We already have that, even without the NRA. Some guys just like to kill stuff. (Source: The Constitution of the United States of America)
